Athletics Ballarat Board Nominations 2025

Athletics Ballarat is calling for board nominations for the upcoming Annual General Meeting in June 
Following three board members finishing their two year terms, Athletics Ballarat will have THREE board positions open for nomination.
The positions will commence following the AGM and have a two year term before re-election. 
Athletics Ballarat is encouraging anyone with experience in the following areas to apply for the positions 
  • Project Management Experience
  • Extensive Athletics or Sporting Knowledge  
  • Accounting or Bookkeeping skills 
  • Marketing and/or Sponsorship 
  • Policy and Procedure Creation
 
As a strategic board, Athletics Ballarat is looking for individuals with a wide range of skills and experiences they can utilise within the organisation. We encourage everyone to apply regardless if you meet the above skills and welcome all nominations
If more than three nominations are received, a vote will be held at the Annual General Meeting, nominated parties must be prepared to present at the AGM if a vote is required 
Athletics Ballarat is board is split into three area, Sports Delivery, Sports Development and Business Operations 
If elected, board members will be placed in these areas at first board meeting post AGM
The board has a scheduled meeting on the first Monday of the month (None in January). It expected board meeting attend at least 80% of meetings
